A refrigerated dryer typically removes around 98% of moisture from compressed air, achieving a pressure dew point (PDP) between 2 - 10℃ (35.6 to 50 Fahrenheit), making it suitable for most general industrial applications where a high level of dryness is needed but not extremely low dew points.
The refrigerated dryer is dehydration equipment for compressed air that uses the principle of refrigeration to cool the compressed air according to the correspondence between the saturated vapor pressure and temperature of water, so that the water vapor in compressed air will be supersaturated and condensed at low temperature, and then the compressed air will be separated from the water. The refrigerated dryer shall be connected between the Air Compressor and Tooling/ Application; optional auxiliary tanks for buffering air flow is suggested.
Under normal conditions, the RD-91502 (120v 60hz) and RD-91503 (220v 60hz) refrigerated dryers will dry the air up to 98% and reduce the air dew point (under pressure) to 2 - 10℃ (35.6 to 50 Fahrenheit), which typically satisfies requirements of most compressed air quality classes with the exception of those tooling/applications that require ISO 8573 clean/dry air quality (i.e. to achieve a PDP below -29F or -34℃).
